General Information;

During the absorption water profile measurement with the isotope tracer, the isotope absorption water profiles are contaminated a certain extent due to many effects such as the inj ection water tube, the pipe string and the tracer features. So data processmg and interpretation are influenced by this contamination. The radioactive isotopes emit several gamma-rays with a stable intensity . When these rays penetrate the matter, their absolute intensities decrease due to the absorption of the matter and their energy distribution also vary. The spectral tracer logging is capable of analyzing synchronously the variation of the spectrum to be measured. It may detect the radial position of the tracer agent and identify the informal condition and the informal contamination of earth formation and provide the base for the profile control of the oil fields.
