EMT Element Measurement Tool

Element Measurement Tool (EMT) is made up of natural gamma spectrum measurement system, inelastic spectrum measurement system, capture spectrum measurement system, activation spectrum measurement system, magnetic locator and temperature auxiliary measurement unit. And the element mass percentage in rock frame and pore fluid can be obtained by conjoint analysis of measured spectrum and utilization of normalized model. Thereby, the mineral content of formation and fluid composition is to be worked out.


Benefits and Features:

1. Measure parameters such as natural gamma ray, natural gamma spectrum, inelastic scattering gamma spectrum, capture gamma spectrum, activation gamma spectrum, etc in a single logging run.

2. Apply the dual-detector technology to obtain parameters such as formation porosity, density, fluid saturation etc.  

3. Adopt downhole automatic peak stabilization and surface spectrum drift correction technology to improve the logging data quality and interpretation accuracy. 

4. Optimal control all the parameters of neutron generator to have the advantages of highly neutron yield, stable neutron yield and long service life, it is conducive to  improve measurement accuracy.

5. Use neutron generator to replace chemical sources so as to improve the measurement accuracy; reduce environmental pollution and avoid radiation to person.
